We are a family run service with a big emphasis on family. We have ourselves been through the tough struggles of family court and have managed to achieve a successful outcome for our children.
Whilst some people may appoint a solicitor to help them with their family court disputes, we know that not everyone has the luxury of being able to afford a professional. If you simply want to see your children and to ensure that they have a great upbringing with a healthy relationship from both their parents, then we are here to help you get through this process without breaking the bank.
We are not solicitors and so we cannot speak for you in court, but we are trained in handling the court process as McKenzie Friends, holding law qualifications and we can absolutely support you 100% of the way if you need us to. We can also give you the tools that you need to put across your case so that you have the best chance of getting a great outcome for your children without the expense of hiring a solicitor.
It’s not nice for children to be at the centre of a breakup but that’s where they happen a lot of the time. Children have to live somewhere and when families break up, that can be a difficult matter to resolve. Whether you live close to your ex partner or if you live at opposite ends of the country, it is still possible for you to enjoy some form of regular contact so that you can remain involved with your children’s lives even if you are not the resident parent. We want to help you to have a great relationship with your kids and that also means helping you to stay calm so that you can communicate effectively in court and hopefully you’ll be able to communicate with your ex too.
We specialise in FAMILY LAW and specifically applications made under the Children’s Act 1989.
The kind of services that we offer include:
- Drafting a C100 court application form for a contact or residence order for your children
- Helping you respond to CAFCASS reports about your children,
- Attending court as a McKenzie Friend
Please note that whilst we try to attend all court hearings, we may not always be available. We will contact you as soon as we can when you get the date for your hearing to give you an indication of whether or not we will be able to attend your hearing.
